About The Company
Our client is an investment adviser with over $20 billion in AUM focused on investing in global credit and special situations. The firm has over 250 employees and has been consistently ranked a top 10 firm in the country. The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for the accounting, valuation, and internal controls for a portfolio of diverse assets and manage a team of 1-2 accountants.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate month end close process and review monthly NAV
• Review complex investor allocations and PE style waterfalls
• Prepare and analyze various reports for management, investors, and regulators
• Oversee external administrator
• Oversee the audit and financial statement process and liaise with auditors
• Evaluate and perform various internal control functions
• Various special projects as needed
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5-8 years of fund accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and at a private asset management firm
• CPA or CFA a plus
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
• Previous experience managing a team
Salary Range
$110,000-$160,000
