About the Role
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will play a vital role in driving the strategic people goals of our organisation. Through coaching and expert guidance, you will deliver impactful partnerships within your assigned business portfolios. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of generalist HR services, with a particular emphasis on nurturing talent, enhancing capabilities, and supporting leadership development.

Key Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to engage with various aspects of HR, with a primary focus on:
Collaborating closely with business leaders to ensure the organisation attracts and retains the right talent to achieve strategic goals.
Offering expert advice, guidance, and coaching to managers on a full range of HR services.
Managing the end-to-end recruitment process for senior and specialist roles.
Conducting retention risk assessments and succession planning to safeguard the organisation's leadership pipeline.
Leading HR-related projects to deliver outcomes that align with business objectives.
Leveraging data and insights to inform and drive impactful HR initiatives.
Providing mentorship and guidance to team members in handling change management and employee relations matters while ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation and company policies.
Supporting the rollout of company-wide organisational development programs.
About You
As a seasoned HR expert, you excel at collaborating and influencing, building strong relationships across all organisational levels. Your strategic insight and ability to interpret commercial priorities highlight the value you bring to your business areas. With a results-driven mindset, you explore opportunities and assess risks while guiding and coaching individuals towards effective solutions through your pragmatic and supportive approach.
Ideal Skills & Experience
A bachelor's degree in HRM, business, or a related discipline.
5-6+ years' experience in a Senior HR Advisory or Business Partner role.
Ability to coach senior leaders and their teams to deliver business strategy and drive performance and capability improvement within their teams.
Well-developed customer and relationship management skills, including credibility and influencing skills at senior levels and across functions.
Broad change management skill set, combined with the ability to apply project management principles to deliver and support organisational change.
Strong understanding of NZ employment legislation and considerable experience applying it in a business context.
Strong reasoning skills with the ability to consider wider implications of decisions.
