Senior IFRS Group Accountant Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and client-focused IFRS Group Accounting expert to support our Group Accounting Advisory team.
This is a remote opportunity with flexible working hours (approximately 5-10 hours per week or 20-30 hours per month).
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage intercompany eliminations and allocations in Excel.
• Prepare IFRS consolidated financial statements for small- and medium-sized groups in various sectors.
• Lead or assist with group reporting processes, including consolidation entries, intercompany eliminations, and financial disclosures.
• Advise clients on technical IFRS issues, such as new standard implementations, accounting policy alignment, and complex transactions.
• Develop and tailor group consolidation models in Excel for international groups.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation schedules in accordance with IFRS.
Required Qualifications:
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CPA) and degree in accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting.
• At least 3 years of experience in IFRS group accounting, with a proven track record of preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS accounting standards, group accounting policies, and consolidation mechanics.
• Excellent Excel skills, including complex formulas and structure design.
Contract Details:
• Type: Freelance or Contract.
• Location: Fully remote.
• Schedule: Flexible (self-managed), approximately 5-10 hours/week or 20-30 hours/month.
• Duration: Ongoing, project-based support.
• Payment: Hourly rate based on the freelancer's location.
