West Hollywood high-end interior design firm is looking for a Senior Designer to join our team long term. To be successful in this position the candidate will need background in design, architecture and/or construction. The Designer will oversee project from start to finish and work closely with the owner in our West Hollywood office. Luxury residential experience a must. Knowledge of high-end furniture vendors and sources, custom furniture production is required. This is a growing position within an extremely high-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead interior design assignments that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development & construction documents. - Maintain & monitor project profitability and schedule adherence. - Coordinate and manage project communications, contracts, budgets and schedules. - Liaise with client representatives, legal teams, project managers, subcontractors, vendors & other 3rd parties. - Monitor the progress of the team, evaluate team performance, and provide timely, effective feedback to the team. - Partner with owner and other team members to impart, implement and monitor interior design standards. - Identify the client's project goals, objectives and communicate this information to the project team. - Assemble the project team and assign roles to team members. - Oversee production of all custom furnishings, manage all relevant manufacturers, and insure timely delivery of product for job installations.
