For more information, visit www.exabeam.comOverviewThis Senior International Accountant role will be a key addition to the accounting organization as Exabeam continues to grow its footprint around the world. This position is based in India and is a remote position working U.S. EST hours, i.e. normal work hours will be between 5.30 PM IST - 2.30 AM IST. The successful candidate will support the Senior Manager, International Accounting and is primarily responsible for the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial records for multiple legal entities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial reporting of the assigned foreign affiliates for internal, regulatory, and tax purposes
• Maintain working relationships with accountants in foreign markets
• Complete assigned monthly close tasks accurately and on time.
• Prepare journal entries and reconcile account balances.
• Reviewing monthly reporting package and reconciliation prepared by the company's external accountants, preparing and recording necessary elimination entries and performing reconciliation of all intercompany balances
• Research and reconcile discrepancies and recommend actionable solutions
• Manage all functions of AP for international subsidiaries ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments to vendors, and responding to inquiries in the AP email inbox
• Review open purchase orders and work with business owners to ensure accuracy of monthly expense accruals for international subsidiaries.
• Review and approve employee expenses in Expensify in accordance with Company policy for international subsidiaries
• Assist with in-housing accounting processes including processing payments for employees and vendors
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for international subsidiaries including preparing balance sheet and income statement flux analyses
• Identify and implement system enhancements including establishing an interface between NetSuite and other finance applications
• Assist with other ad-hoc projects as required including, but not limited to, system upgrades and implementation, developing and streamlining processes and enhancing existing policies
Requirements:
• Chartered Accountant, MBA, CPA or similar professional qualification is preferred
• Minimum ofsix (6) years of experience working in accounting including international compliance, audit or tax accounting
• Ability to collaborate and take direction
• Intermediate excel knowledge
• Ability to work extended hours and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work cross-functional and be a team player.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Netsuite, Coupa, Expensify or Citibank
