The Role
As a Senior iOS Developer on the Design System Team, you will play a key role in the development and evolution of a unified, sophisticated design system for the client’s entire product platform. You will work with a cross-functional team to build and maintain iOS components within a sophisticated, component-based design system. This system is designed to improve the user experience across various product teams, enabling them to build modern, consistent interfaces.
What you will do
• Design and develop iOS applications, focusing on iOS-specific UI components (SwiftUI, UIKit)
• Work with other engineers to build out and refine the CI/CD pipelines that automate the deployment of iOS components
• Maintain and enhance the front-end developer experience, collaborating closely with engineers working on the web components (React/Angular) and sharing best practices across platforms.
Requirements
• 5+ years of professional experience in iOS development, with a strong portfolio of released iOS applications.
• In-depth knowledge of Swift
• Hands-on experience with mobile app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.) and best practices.
• Familiarity with UI component libraries such as Material UI, Angular Material, Ant Design, Chakra, or proprietary solutions.
• Solid understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.
