We represent an innovative ASX-listed technology company who is seeking for a Generalist In-house Counsel to join the team on a 6-month contract.
The Legal Team
Our client's legal team offers regulatory and legal support across a wide range of matters, with a strong focus on commercial and contractual guidance for their international business, as well as compliance. Led by a seasoned General Counsel with extensive expertise in technology and healthcare, the team delivers legal and compliance services across the organisation's operations in Australia, the USA, the UK, Europe, and Asia.
Position Description
As their in-house counsel, you will be responsible for providing the full range of regulatory, compliance and legal support across the international business.
You will be working across:
Commercial support including in IP, privacy, marketing, technology and advertising.
Contractual support including supply, service, consultancy, confidentiality, distribution, resellar, sales, regulatory and quality agreements.
Compliance in privacy and data protection also supporting the company's compliance program including updating policies and ensuring implementation of policies.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be an Australian qualified lawyer with 5+ years post-admission experience, ideally with exposure to the healthcare sector.
In addition, you will have:
a 'go the extra mile' attitude
excellent communication skills; and
the ability to manage multiple tasks, while working effectively in a team environment.
