HCL Software India Channel / Product Senior Counsel Position
General Responsibilities :
++ years of experience in drafting, negotiating and finalizing various contracts, with an emphasis on software, procurement, technology and related services agreements.
Proficient in assessing contract requirements, critical provisions / terms and conditions to ensure compliance with our templates and applicable laws and regulations.
Good working knowledge of corporate governance, code of ethics and conduct and compliance.
Must be goal oriented, a strong team player and capable of working with little supervision to a common goal
Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, mentoring, and writing skills.
Work with other global legal team members to establish priorities, set goals and monitor progress within the group to ensure organization objectives are properly and timely met.
Adept at identifying and mitigating risks, measuring metrics, tracking project progress and submitting status reports.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.
Must have excellent organizational skills and ability to work autonomously on multiple projects to often tight deadlines.
Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management are required.
Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor.
Position Specific Requirements :
Experience with multiple forms of channel sales (Systems Integrator, Distribution, Reseller and Solutions) within the technology sector is required.
Experience of product compliance, management and related processes is also desirable.
A demonstrable understanding of anti-trust / anti-competition in the context of resale and distribution would also be an advantage.
