Description
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior Legal Counsel, India who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Bangalore, India.
Key responsibilities:
• Taking conduct of significant Indian based legal matters.
• Interfacing with senior management of Indian Hitachi Rail entity.
• Interpreting, negotiating and closing out complex deals for the Rail Sector Business Unit in India.
• Interpreting and guiding senior management in relation to regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Taking conduct of significant arbitrations and litigations.
• Interacting with the compliance function.
Skills & Experience:
• Law Degree from a reputable University
• PQE of 7-10 years
• Preferably with experience at an international industrial company
• Knowledge and experience gained in rail, oil & gas, power, aero, or the automotive industry sectors would be highly beneficial
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and communication ability to work in a culturally diverse organization and with multiple key stakeholders.At Hitachi Rail, we know that a diverse business is a sustainable business.
