Job Responsibilities
• Oversee all court cases involving the bank, ensuring effective and timely litigation management.
• Develop and implement comprehensive litigation strategies to minimize risks and achieve favorable outcomes.
• Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance.
• Conduct regular training sessions on litigation practices and procedures for the litigation team.
• Maintain accurate records of litigation cases and provide detailed, timely reports to senior management.
• Provide strategic legal advice to senior management regarding litigation risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with internal recovery teams and external lawyers, managing relationships and collaboration.
• Facilitate regular meetings with senior management to provide updates on case statuses and progress.
• Ensure that court cases are processed efficiently, with judgments delivered within a year.
• Oversee the auction process, ensuring that it progresses in a timely manner (within one year).
• Monitor the performance of the litigation team, offering guidance to improve low performance.
• Track daily litigation activities and ensure alignment with organizational goals in collaboration with functional heads.

Job Requirements
• Master's degree in law or a related field is typically required.
• Professional qualification as a lawyer is advantageous.
• Must hold a lawyer license from the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
• 7-10 years of experience in litigation, with a strong preference for experience within the banking or financial services sector.
• Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within a legal team.
• Strong understanding of banking laws and regulations.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing, coaching, and mentoring legal teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (speaking, writing, and listening).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Complex litigation case management.
• Strategic legal advice and risk mitigation.
