About the opportunity
There is currently One (1) permanent position available for immediate filling.
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Senior Management Accountant to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality financial management, budgetary oversight, and strategic advice for the Royalties for Regions program.
Established in 2008, Royalties for Regions is a significant government initiative that reinvests a percentage of the State’s royalties into regional communities. The program is dedicated to strengthening regional economies, enhancing infrastructure, and improving the quality of life across regional areas.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
Providing expert financial analysis, reporting, and strategic advice
Supporting budget development, monitoring, and forecasting processes
Ensuring sound financial governance and compliance
Delivering clear and accurate financial insights to support decision-making
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to optimise program outcomes
This position is based in our Nash Street, Perth office.
Flexible work arrangements may be available for this position, including remote working options, subject to operational requirements and in line with the Department’s Policy.
About You

Have strong experience in management accounting and budget management

DPIRD is an Emergency Management Agency and all employees may be required to work or travel during, or outside of, normal business hours to assist with incidents and emergencies.
