Blair West is supporting Ashcourt Group as they look to hire a talented Management Accountant for their Hull & East Yorkshire region based in their Pocklington HQ. You will be reporting into the Finance Director.
The opportunity:
• Full production of Management Accounts to be reviewed by the board.
• Ensure timely and precise reporting of costs & revenues for financial reporting.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Conducting variance analysis on accounts (Actual Vs Budget).
• Feeding information into the group accounts and supporting where necessary.
• Dealing with invoice financing and reconciliations.
• Production and analysis of MI.
• Working closely with commercial and operational teams and providing business partnering support to drive MI, budgets and forecasts.
• Assisting the Finance Director by producing financial KPIs.
• Production of various financial reports including daily uploads, drawdowns and sales reporting.
• Continuous improvement of processes and systems.
You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:
• A qualification in Accountancy (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience in a commercial finance role.
• People management skills, or a desire to move to a people management role.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• The ability to present reports and findings to board & group level.
