The Senior Management Accountant is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to assist in strategic decision-making.
Fixed Term 12 month contract
Open to Full Time or Part Time (3 full days per week)

Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI) was Australia's first dedicated paediatric research facility and is now one of the world's most highly regarded independent medical research organisations. We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join our team to:
Lead financial reporting and analysis
Collaborate budgeting and forecasting
Oversee financial management and statutory compliance
Oversee grant and project accounting
Manage cash flow and liquidity
Initiate systems and process improvement

The role can either be Full- Time (35 hours per week) or Part Time 3 Full days

Key selection criteria
Qualifications in accounting, CPA/CA qualified
Proven background of financial and management accounting in an operation of similar size and complexity, with comparable accounting transactions and business processes
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in a finance management role, with experience in end to end accounting and finance functions including treasury and cash flow management
Techone experience
Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders
