Job Description
1. Financial Management:
o Oversee and manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
o Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
o Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
o Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and maintain financial controls to ensure optimal financial health.
2. Statutory Compliance:
o Ensure timely and accurate compliance with tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.) and other statutory requirements.
o Prepare and file tax returns, handle statutory audits, and liaise with tax authorities when required.
o Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and ensure the company’s policies and processes are aligned.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting:
o Develop and implement annual budgets and financial forecasts.
o Monitor and report on budget variances, suggesting corrective actions to senior management.
4. Administrative Management:
o Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, including office supplies, equipment, and facility management.
o Manage office infrastructure and ensure a conducive working environment.
o Supervise administrative staff, ensuring effective execution of administrative duties.
5. Team Leadership & Development:
o Lead and manage the accounts and administration team, providing direction, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
o Ensure team adherence to company policies, operational guidelines, and best practices.
6. Reporting & Analysis:
o Prepare reports on financial performance, administrative costs, and operational efficiency for senior management.
o Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
Experience:
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in accounting and administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Prior experience in managing accounts in the manufacturing, distribution, or aerospace sectors is highly desirable.
• Proven expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and statutory audits.
• Experience in using accounting software (Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems).
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, or MBA in Finance are a plus.
Skills Required: Accounting principles, Financial regulations, Tax laws (GST, TDS, etc.), Proficiency in Tally, Leadership, Communication, Attention to detail, Analytical abilities, Confidentiality and Multi-tasking.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Financial Accuracy, Compliance Rate, Operational Efficiency, Budget Management, Team Effectiveness.
