We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Event Sponsorship Sales Leader to drive sponsorship revenue, build lasting partnerships, and lead the sales team to achieve ambitious targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sponsorship Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship sales strategy for AIM Media House’s flagship events and conferences.
Identify new revenue opportunities and design innovative sponsorship packages that align with client goals.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, marketing heads, and decision-makers in target industries.
Act as a trusted advisor to sponsors, understanding their objectives and crafting customized solutions.
Revenue Generation:
Drive sales performance to meet and exceed revenue targets for event sponsorships.
Proactively identify potential sponsors across industries such as technology, finance, healthcare, and retail.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sponsorship sales team to achieve individual and team goals.
Provide regular training, performance feedback, and support to team members.
Event Collaboration:
Work closely with event management, marketing, and content teams to ensure seamless execution of sponsorship deliverables.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sponsorship opportunities with the overall event experience.
Market Research and Insights:
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and sponsorship innovations.
Provide insights and feedback to the leadership team to refine event offerings and sponsorship strategies.
Reporting and Analytics:
Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.
Analyze sponsorship ROI and recommend improvements for future events.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: 14+ years in sponsorship sales, business development, or B2B sales, preferably in events, media, or technology sectors.
Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams.
Network: Strong connections with industry leaders and decision-makers in relevant sectors.
Sales Acumen: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to design innovative sponsorship packages and adapt strategies to market needs.
Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Collaboration: Strong team player who can work across functions to deliver value to sponsors and attendees.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred but not mandatory.
