JLL's Australia Pursuits team is a high-performance group of business development strategists. We are focused on driving revenue growth, and do this by equipping, enriching and enabling our business teams to grow. Through introducing and leading a strategic and innovative methodology for winning business, we achieve significant results with each team we partner with.

This is a fixed term 12-month opportunity. A core component of our value is the ability to successfully differentiate JLL within a highly competitive marketplace. In this role, you will work closely with our Office Leasing business to deliver the Australia Pursuits team's approach to winning business and driving revenue growth.

You will be responsible for crafting winning proposal strategies, developing compelling value propositions and communicating the unique selling points that put us ahead of the competition.

Job Responsibilities
Work with the Office Leasing business leaders to achieve Leasing Advisory’s growth strategy by leading the local business’ most significant and strategic pursuits.
Establish a disciplined approach to qualifying pipelines so that the pursuits function can help deliver growth and improve win rates in both volume and revenue.
Participate in the firm’s client intelligence, client experience and client development programmes as they evolve.
Lead pitch and presentation training for our sales teams, using the APAC Pursuits team’s strategic framework to improve best practice.
Work closely with broker/sales team counterparts to create compelling and memorable pitch documents, with persuasive value propositions and effectively developed win strategies
Manage significant pitch opportunities end to end, including the pre-qualification stage, key issues analysis, strategy formulation, drafting and editing, internal and client debriefs.
Consult and provide advisory support on pitch strategy for medium value opportunities.
Work closely with the Pursuits team’s dedicated graphic design team to achieve exceptional pitch and presentation creative outcomes.
Lead rehearsals and coach the presentation team on engagement, chemistry and flow.
Be an active member of the broader Pursuits team, including engaging with members in regional HQ (Singapore) and in other large JLL markets to share best practice.
Lead the roll out of our online pitch management platform and central repository for best in class materials to the Office Leasing local business;
Produce other sales collateral as required (including copy-writing and graphic design guidance)
Ensure that all client materials produced by the Pursuits team adhere to the JLL brand guidelines (including Tone of Voice).
Support the Leasing Advisory growth strategy, and drive business growth
Lead on the creation of compelling and winning bid submissions for “must win” opportunities
Lead the training and upskilling of the Australia Pursuits team, and key stakeholder groups within the business to upgrade our local capability in pitch delivery

Requirements
Five to seven years’ experience working in a professional services firm, ideally in a Business Development or strategic writing capacity.
Strong communicator with excellent writing, presentation and collaboration skills, able to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong influencing skills with a high degree of assertiveness - managing stakeholder expectations in a high pressure environment.
Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask and prioritise to meet tight deadlines.
Proven ability in understanding, gathering, analysing and interpreting business data required for business development activities.
Strong, goal driven team player who demonstrates the commitment, creativity and initiative to ensure that the job gets done and done well.
Highly motivated, with a proactive work style and ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, knowledge of simple analytics and up to speed with current digital BD techniques and best practices.
A keen desire to learn new technologies that enhance pitch experiences for clients.
