We're looking for an amazing Senior Manager, Revenue and Cash Operations to fill this role. You'll be responsible for understanding the company's internal revenue reservation systems and the impact of revenue recognition under ASC Topic 606. The Revenue & Cash Operations Senior Manager will also be responsible for topics including, but not limited to, analyzing and preparing accounting positions for our loyalty programs, bundle programs, researching technical accounting literature, and making recommendations on accounting conclusions to senior leadership.

Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of over twenty overseeing various key GL accounts, processes, and account reconciliations
• Develop a robust knowledge and understanding on internal reservation system and how different promotional offers impact revenue recognition
• Continuously look for process improvement opportunities as well as process alignment between the Brands and recommend changes in accounting, reporting, policies, procedures, controls and/or processes, when needed
• Manage multiple concurrent engagements within our brands and collaborate / coordinate with our Corporate team
• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced knowledge of complex accounting concepts
• Assist in the preparation of technical memos and other Corporate deliverables, as needed
• Anticipate and address business partner concerns and escalate issues as they arise; identify performance improvement opportunities
• Provide insight and perform research around IFRS.
Requirements
• 5-7 years in public accounting
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships, work in a highly organized and efficient manner, and take projects to completion in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt in a flexible, fast-paced work environment.
• Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Understanding of consolidations and corporate financial reporting process
• Strong accounting research and analytical skills
• Understanding and proficiency Oracle ERP systems, a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading, supervising, and training other team members
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
