We are seeking a Permanent Cost Accountant to join our finance team onsite!

The ideal candidate for the Cost Accountant role should possess the following qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting within a manufacturing environment
Proven experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, variance analysis, and profit margin analysis
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and product cost analysis
Demonstrated experience in inventory reconciliations and roll forward
Expertise in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in spreadsheet analysis
A solid understanding of inventory analysis, cost management, cost analysis, and cost control
A strong background in manufacturing cost analysis
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner

Responsibilities
As a Cost Accountant, your key responsibilities will include
Conducting regular cost accounting activities, including inventory valuation, cost of sales analysis, and profit margin analysis
Managing the preparation, analysis, and reporting of budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards
Performing variance analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement
Conducting product cost analysis to provide insightful feedback to the production and management teams
Implementing cost control measures to optimize resources and maximize profitability
Performing inventory reconciliations and roll forward to ensure accurate financial reporting
Utilizing ERP systems, specifically Microsoft Dynamics, to streamline accounting processes
Leveraging advanced Excel skills and spreadsheet analysis techniques to interpret complex financial data
Participating in the development of cost management strategies to support the company's growth objectives
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
