Job Description
Peak Financial Partners is seeking a Senior People Operations to support and enhance our human resources function. This role is responsible for coordinating and executing a wide range of HR activities, including employee relations, recruiting, compliance, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while serving as a trusted resource to employees and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance
• Assist in the administration of company-wide HR policies, procedures, and practices in alignment with corporate objectives and federal/state legal requirements
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and internal policies
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR processes, policies, and programs
Recruiting & Onboarding
• Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and candidate evaluation
• Coordinate hiring processes, including background and reference checks
• Assist in preparing and negotiating offer details and issuing offer letters and onboarding documentation
Employee Relations & Engagement
• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance and support
• Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to employees and managers
• Assist in resolving workplace issues in a timely and professional manner
Benefits & Compensation Administration
• Support administration of compensation and benefits programs
• Coordinate communications and processes related to benefits, including 401(k) and open enrollment
• Assist with employee recognition initiatives and engagement programs
Leave Management & Claims
• Coordinate administration of workers’ compensation and unemployment claims
• Support leave of absence processes as needed
HR Projects & Communication
• Coordinate distribution and communication of HR initiatives, including policy updates and handbook changes
• Assist with HR reporting, documentation, and internal communications
• Participate in HR projects and process improvements
Additional Responsibilities
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4–7+ years of progressive HR experience (Generalist or similar role)
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws
• Experience supporting recruiting, employee relations, and HR operations

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
• Sound judgment with the ability to make timely, effective decisions
• High level of discretion when handling confidential information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
• Adaptability, flexibility, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
