The role:
AHP 3 Physiotherapist – Inpatient Orthopaedic Senior
Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) is the largest tertiary hospital in Tasmania and a major referral centre serving residents in the southern region of Tasmania. The RHH is affiliated with the University of Tasmania to be at the forefront of clinical excellence, research, and education.
We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion in acute orthopaedics to join the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Clinical Leadership: Provide evidence-based Physiotherapy care collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient centred care; facilitate patient flow and discharge planning; advocate for high quality physiotherapy care to the wider health profession.
Education and Supervision: Provide teaching and supervision to junior physiotherapists, Allied Health Assistants (AHA) students, and non-Allied Health staff, contribute to our learning culture.
Service Development: Play a pivotal role in the development and coordination of our Orthopaedic inpatient services, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Research Involvement: Participate in research projects, with the opportunity to develop your own research.
