Description
We’re looking for an experienced Senior People & Performance Advisor to partner with leaders across our Group Functions at Fletcher Building, delivering pragmatic, high quality people solutions that support business performance.
This role suits someone who is confident working independently and as part of a small tight knit team, enjoys operating across a broad stakeholder group, and brings strong judgement across operational HR matters.
Key focus areas include:
Partnering with leaders on employment relations, performance, remuneration and workforce matters
Delivering talent management activities such as performance cycles, talent reviews and succession planning
Managing onboarding for Group Functions
Acting as a key user of HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy, compliance and effective reporting
Building strong, trusted relationships across the business and People & Performance community
About you:
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring proven experience in a HR or People & Performance advisory position, demonstrating solid knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and strong HRIS skills—ideally with Workday expertise. You’ll be adept at engaging and influencing stakeholders, comfortably managing a complex portfolio with autonomy, and possess a tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or a related discipline.
