We are front-ending the category creation for the audio OTT landscape and building the largest repository of audio streaming content across formats like audio series, audiobooks and podcasts, through our unique story telling approach.
We are reimagining the traditional audio pattern to build an internet-scale platform and bring together communities to share stories and spread knowledge. Our mission is to give voice to stories and wisdom. Pocket FM has grown to 15million MAL (monthly active listeners), spending an average of over 100 minutes every day, while the total monthly audio streaming on the app counts to over 3 billion minutes. We are a Series C funded start-up backed by some of the marquee investors like Naver, Goodwater Capital, Lightspeed, Tanglin Venture Partners and others.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic team as the Product Manager of Platform Charter.
As the Senior Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and vision of our platform, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and objectives.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to gather insights, prioritize features, and drive the roadmap to deliver a world-class platform experience.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product management, with a focus on platform development and strategy. You should be adept at analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions.
Responsibilities
●
● Collaborate with the team to develop a comprehensive plan and actionable strategies by understanding user requirements and strategic objectives, leveraging data-driven insights, and maintaining close communication with stakeholders.
● Manage the entire product development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, prioritization, and testing.
● Analyze data and gather insights to formulate a robust product strategy that drives effective decision-making.
● Foster and manage cross-functional relationships to ensure stakeholders are well-informed, gather valuable input, and influence their perspectives.
● Exhibit your expertise and mastery in product development to successfully deliver products that enhance our overall retention metrics.
● Prioritize the implementation of new features based on user needs, aligning with Pocket FM's short-term and long-term business objectives, as well as considering technical platform scalability.
Requirements:
● 4-6 years of experience successfully managing and advancing software products, preferably B2C.
• Proficient in product roadmap definition, collaborative design and engineering, and successful large-scale product launches.
• Track record of delivering projects that have made a measurable difference to the success of the organization. Proven ability to generate positive outcomes through strategic initiatives.
• Possess a unique combination of strong instincts and analytical thinking, enabling focused decision-making based on extensive data analysis. Skilled in navigating and leveraging vast amounts of data to inform critical choices.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Experience working on Onboarding an activation user flows.
• Exceptional at simplifying complex information into easily understandable concepts. Adept at leading teams through uncertain situations with clarity and confidence.
• The user-centric approach is integral to your work philosophy, actively collaborating with design, insights, and engineering teams to transform vision into tangible results.
• Outstanding communication skills and adept at managing relationships with diverse stakeholders. Comfortable working in cross-functional environments and fostering effective collaboration.
