You will work collaboratively across the department and with community sector partners and contribute to the efficient and effective management and continuous improvement of homelessness programs and projects.
What You Will Be Doing
Support effective strategic and operational management of projects / programs to reduce homelessness, delivered by the department or by third parties
Contribute to the design of new accommodation / housing models and programs through contemporary person-centred responses to homelessness, including the development of new models, costings and all relevant approval documentation.
Monitor, evaluate and report against performance outcomes for projects / programs to ensure compliance to necessary departmental requirements.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify best practice and apply learnings to deliver continuous improvement of homelessness responses.
Apply project management frameworks to successfully deliver projects.
Use strong interpersonal communication to establish an appropriate standard for team communication to facilitate strong team. performance and high levels of motivation and satisfaction among team members
Assist in the timely preparation of accurate and high quality ministerial and executive correspondence.
Working collaboratively and liaising with staff across the department, within other government agencies as well as other internal and external stakeholders to support the management of projects and programs
