Responsibilities Of The Senior Property Accountant
• Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements across multiple properties.
• Ensure punctual and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Offer comprehensive variance analysis and elucidate financial performance.
• Supervise month-end closures for the property accounting division.
• Execute monthly reconciliations and journal entries.
• Identify avenues for process optimization and efficiency enhancement.
Qualifications Of The Senior Property Accountant
• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Four to six years of accounting experience in the real estate domain
• Proficiency in GAAP and financial reporting is essential
• Demonstrated prowess in analytical thinking and problem-solving
• Expertise in Yardi and/or MRI and Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are imperative
• Capability to operate both independently and cooperatively within a team setting
