About the Role
Reporting to the GM People, you will design, manage, and optimise our remuneration and benefits offerings. You’ll provide strategic and technical expertise across compensation, benefits, industrial relations support, compliance, and workforce planning—ensuring our frameworks remain competitive, transparent, and aligned with business needs.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver a holistic remuneration strategy aligned with industry benchmarks and business objectives.
Provide IR support including data modelling, allowance and classification analysis, market comparisons, and enterprise agreement remuneration input.
Conduct market and salary benchmarking, ensuring competitive and equitable pay practices.
Design and maintain job architecture, salary structures, and incentive frameworks.
Oversee employee benefits programs, continuously reviewing and enhancing offerings.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
Lead the Annual Remuneration Review and remuneration benchmarking cycles.
Support administration of the Short-Term Incentive Program including communication and payment modelling.
Provide expert remuneration advice to HR Business Partners and leaders.
About You
5+ years’ experience in remuneration and benefits within the mining/resources sector.
Strong technical capability in job evaluation, benchmarking, incentive design, analytics, and job architecture.
Experience supporting industrial processes including negotiations, allowance reviews, and labour market analysis.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts with clarity.
Strong governance knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation.
Proficient with HRIS platforms, data tools, and analytics.
