In this role as a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of our digital transformation journey, utilizing Model-based Engineering, DevSecOps, and Agile practices. Your contributions will play a crucial role in delivering vital national defense capabilities.
Responsibilities include:
• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers
• Modernize and productionize codebases using C/C++ and modern C++ features
• Develop software infrastructure for CI/CD, software metrics, and MLOps
• Design applications that enhance modularity, scalability, and reliability while meeting performance requirements
• Apply and uphold industry best practices in software engineering
• Collaborate with Software Leads and Architects to grasp program intent and system capabilities
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of relevant experience; Master's with 3+ years; PhD with 1+ year
• Active Top Secret security clearance with Continuous Evaluation enrollment
• Ability to meet specific customer security screening requirements
• Willing to work onsite full-time
• Experience with C/C++ and familiarity with modern C++ standards
• Skilled in analyzing system requirements to derive software design
• Proven success in software design, coding, and debugging
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications:
• Leadership experience in meeting project schedules and requirements
• Experience with advanced C++ standards
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working with Linux operating systems
• Background in high-performance computing and scientific algorithms
• Understanding of Agile processes including Scrum and DevSecOps
This position offers relocation assistance and is based in Woodland Hills, CA. A successful transfer of an active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00, based on qualifications.
