The primary responsibilities of the Sr. Staff Accountant involve handling senior accounting duties daily that are assigned by management. General Responsibilities:
• Prepare month end journal entries.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and performance indicator reports.
• Maintain Chart of Accounts with financial software.
• Prepare monthly sales and use tax payments/returns.
• Assist with annual external review.
• Assist with other accounting department responsibilities, full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in accounting.
• 5+ Years of related experience.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Experience with general ledger accounting software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
