We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
• Ability to work off hours and weekends to support change implementation. Ability to support client systems in a 24/7 on- call rotation.
• CICS SSL Setup Troubleshooting
• Understand the CICS Application Architecture and troubleshoot issues arising due to incoming CICS connections from Offhost DataPower , WAS etc.
• Coordinate with various application support teams, business stakeholders for complex change implementations
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Support the operations of the Mainframe CICS infrastructure.
• Responsible for carrying out BAU tasks for application owners. These include CICS resource definitions online(terminals, programs, bundles etc.), defining new CICS regions , Define zCEE servers , Angle Servers etc.
• Good knowledge on monitoring and administrative tools like Sysview, Omegamon , CAFC or any other equivalent for support.
• Experience in upgrade of CICS TS from lower version to higher version.
• Knowledge on CICS Transaction Gateway and CICS webservices and CICSplex Operations
• Experience in vendor product install / upgrade and applying PTF for maintenance
• Support and document DR processes
• Monitor ticketing tool to resolve incidents and requests within agreed SLAs.
• Problem determination skills demonstrating independence and experience in troubleshooting, researching, and resolving complex issues, showing strong ability to utilize system diagnostics to arrive at problem solutions.
