Our client is a mid-size CPA firm based in Richmond, VA seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to their team on a hybrid basis. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of recent public accounting experience preparing and reviewing complex business tax returns and is actively pursuing their CPA license if not already obtained.

This firm offers excellent opportunities for growth as they have clients ranging in size from a few hundred thousand dollars in gross revenue to upwards of $50mil. Responsibilities:
• Providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities with an emphasis on companies operating in the manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services and technology, and financial institutions industries
• Assisting in supervising, developing, and coaching professional tax staff
• Helping to develop and manage client relationships
• Providing timely and unmatched client service and exceeding client expectations
• Participating in the proposal process for potential new clients
• Contributing to sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publications and to internal learning and development sessions
• Working with your team to assign projects and resolve scheduling conflicts

Benefits:
• Compensation (DOE): $85,000-100,000
• Hybrid - 3 days in-office, two days at home (Everyone comes in on Tuesday)
