About the role

We’re building a unified National Claims Learning & Development (L&D) team to deliver market-leading learning that is innovative, consistent, and scalable. Are you a seasoned Commercial Property Claims professional? We are seeking a Senior Training Consultant (Commercial Lines) to lead the development and delivery of practical, performance-focused learning that strengthens technical capability across our claims organization.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands claim realities, and can translate that experience into clear coaching, tools, and training that drives consistent file quality and results.

Location: The position is open in all of our offices across Canada.

What you’ll do here:

Lead and deliver technical learning programs with a strong focus on Commercial Property claims (coverage, investigation, estimating, liability, file handling, documentation, and settlement practices).

Create and update training content that reflects real-world adjusting scenarios, internal standards, and best practices.

Support onboarding and upskilling through workshops, case studies, file reviews, job aids, and coaching.

Partner with Claims Leaders and key stakeholders to identify performance gaps and prioritize training that improves outcomes.

Define learning objectives and measure effectiveness using feedback, assessments, audits, and performance metrics.

Continuously improve training materials, workflows, and enablement resources to increase consistency, efficiency, and customer outcomes.

Bring in external industry trends and practices to keep technical content current and relevant.

What you bring to the table:

3+ years of Commercial Property claims adjusting experience (carrier, independent adjusting firm, or equivalent).

Strong technical capability in commercial property file handling, including complex coverage interpretation and end-to-end claim management.

Ability to translate technical knowledge into clear guidance and practical learning experiences (formal training experience is helpful, but not required).

Strong communication skills and credibility with adjusters and leaders; confident presenting to groups.

Organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines.

Continuous-improvement mindset focused on measurable results.

English/French bilingualism is an asset.
