As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to lead our litigation department and drive successful outcomes for our clients.
Personal Injury Litigation Attorney Responsibilities
Lead and manage your own team in litigation department
Handle a caseload of personal injury litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and all other litigation documents.
Appear for all court hearings, depositions, mediations, MSCs, and trials as required.
Communicate effectively and proactively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and all case stakeholders.
Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations and other ADR procedures.
Stay current on developments in personal injury law, case law, and trial strategy.
Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.
Review, analyze, and evaluate case facts, liability, and damages to determine case value and litigation strategy.
Skills & Competencies
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
Proficiency in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw).
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective case strategies.
Experience with litigation workflows, discovery management, and case tracking systems.
Highly skilled in legal drafting, with the ability to prepare compelling and persuasive litigation documents.
Courtroom experience and confidence litigating cases independently.
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
3+ years of experience in personal injury litigation.
Proven track record of successful case outcomes.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-management abilities.
Trial experience
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
