Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute an IT vision that aligns with the company’s long-term business goals. Lead major digital transformation initiatives, with a particular focus on AI and automation to streamline operations and enhance innovation.
• External Focus: Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the company stays ahead of the competition. Position IT as a strategic enabler of business growth and market leadership.
• Executive Collaboration: Work closely with the executive team and other key business leaders to identify technology gaps, chart the path forward, and implement solutions that drive success. Build strong relationships with business unit leaders to understand evolving business needs.
• Team Development: Lead and mentor a global IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure that IT leaders are equipped to anticipate technological advancements, not just react to issues. Build a succession plan to prepare future IT leadership.
• Resource & Budget Management: Oversee the IT budget, ensuring the company invests in technology that drives growth while optimizing costs. Manage vendor and service provider relationships to ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Lead efforts to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with all relevant regulations. Oversee the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize business disruptions.
What You’ll Accomplish in Your First Year:
• Develop key relationships with the executive team and IT leaders.
• Perform a deep dive into the company’s technology landscape to identify and address critical gaps.
• Lead efforts to build a robust business case for future technology investments, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
• Create a framework for long-term IT growth, focusing on innovation, improved performance, and enhanced security.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in IT leadership, with a strong focus on global operations and a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of executing large-scale IT initiatives, such as digital transformation and ERP implementations.
• Expertise in AI, automation, and the latest technology trends that drive business growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree/MBA preferred).
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across a global organization.
