Roles and Responsibility
To oversee the processes involved in import clearance, product handling, storage solutions, shipment of goods, schedule of operations, delivery of items, optimum space utilisation , management of shelf life and ensure zero expiries
Plan and implement the overall import clearance , warehousing and distribution strategy (Import – Warehousing – Sales – Ecommerce - Mid mile – last mile deliveries)Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse Operations, and Customer Service teamsDetermine key supply chain/Distribution KPIsStreamline process for receipt, storage and distribution of inventory and monitor movement of inventory .Comply with required regulations and ensure compliant operations.Own the process from clearance , receiving , inventory tracking, picking packing ,shipping to stores and reporting . Implement SOP and have proper check lists to ensure seamless distribution and conduct continuous warehouse audits.Work continuously on cost reduction and reduce overall clearance , warehouse and distribution cost.
