Job Summary
We are seeking a Workers Comp Senior Attorney to join our team. As a senior attorney, you will be responsible for managing the legal defense of workers' compensation cases from inception to final resolution.
Responsibilities:
Advocate on behalf of insurance carriers and third-party administrators
Prepare correspondence to clients
Draft pleadings
Attend court appearances
Manage calendar
Negotiate settlements on workers' compensation files
Negotiate lien claims
Mentor and manage legal assistants
Establish relationships with clients, co-workers, and vendors
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of workers' compensation experience
Licensed to practice in California
Located in California
