Shadforth is currently seeking a dedicated and hands-on Serviceman to join our team working across projects in Brisbane and the Gold Coast Regions.
As part of the one of Queensland's leading Civil Construction companies, you'll play a critical role in maintaining our extensive fleet of heavy earthmoving equipment. Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out scheduled servicing of plant and equipment across various project sites
perform basic mechanical maintenance and minor repairs
use your HR license to move equipment between job sites when required
Operate pressure wash trailers to clean down machinery
Monitor machinery condition, identify and report any mechanical faults or leaks
Maintain correct fluids (fuel, oil, grease) for optimal machine performance
Manage the cleanliness and stock levels of the service vehicle
support Diesel Fitters on-site with tasks when needed
What you'll need:
Previous experience in a similar servicing or mechanical support role (earthmoving or civil machinery experience preferred)
Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform physically demanding tasks
Ability to monitor plant and equipment condition, identify & report oil and fuel leaks, whilst ensuring oil, grease and fuel are stocked
Strong understanding of safety protocols and site compliance
Team-focused mindset with good communication skills
A proactive and reliable work ethic
