Technical Officer - Water and Wastewater
Hervey Bay, Hervey Bay & Fraser Coast QLD
Key Responsibilities:
Lead exciting infrastructure projects
Manage the delivery, design, construction, and maintenance of water supply and sewerage infrastructure projects
Collaborate with diverse teams to tackle unique challenges and make a real impact on the region's development
Design, deliver, construct, and maintain water supply and sewerage infrastructure
Prepare project and/or work specifications for implementation by internal or external service providers
Requirements:
Previous experience in the delivery and design and/or construction/maintenance of water supply and sewerage infrastructure
Understanding of financial management including planning, budgeting, and administration
Experience in project management principles and practices
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
Written communication: policies, guidelines, and reports
Interpersonal communication: consult, partner, negotiate, and interact effectively at all levels
People management: lead, motivate, coach, and work as an active team participant
Qualifications/Licences:
Degree (AQF 7 or above) in Engineering and/or equivalent experience in construction and/or maintenance of water and sewerage infrastructure
Trade Qualifications (AQF Level 3 or above) in Water Industry Operations, Plumbing, Civil Construction, and significant experience
Current Driver's Licence
Construction Induction Training (White) Card
