About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Specialist to join our Shipping & Receiving team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and sending outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, proper packaging, and on-time delivery. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying organized, and being a key part of a fast-paced operation, this role could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
Daily Responsibilities
Pick items for shipment according to customer orders
Pack items securely and accurately for shipment
Verify orders before packaging and inspect items for damage
Ensure all packaging meets company and carrier requirements
Create and print shipping labels and packing slips
Stage completed packages in designated outgoing areas
Communicate any issues or delays to the Shipping & Receiving Lead
Maintain adequate stock of shipping supplies
Keep the shipping area clean, organized, and safe
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager
Support and align with Lean Six Sigma initiatives and company goals
