Job Summary
The Shuttering Foreman will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing shuttering/formwork activities using Mivan aluminium formwork and conventional shuttering systems. The role ensures work is carried out as per drawings, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines.
Key ResponsibilitiesShuttering & Formwork Execution
• Supervise Mivan aluminium shuttering and conventional shuttering (plywood, MS plates, props, centering).
• Read and understand structural drawings, shuttering layouts, and bar bending drawings.
• Ensure accurate line, level, plumb, and alignment of shuttering before concreting.
• Plan daily shuttering activities as per pour schedule.
Material & Resource Management
• Check availability, handling, and proper use of Mivan panels, pins, wedges, tie rods, props, and accessories.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure safe stacking and reuse.
• Coordinate with stores for issue and return of shuttering materials.
Labour Management
• Allocate work to carpenters, helpers, and shuttering gangs.
• Maintain productivity and discipline of labour.
• Guide workers on correct shuttering practices for both systems.
Quality Control
• Ensure shuttering is leak-proof, rigid, and properly supported.
• Check opening provisions for doors, windows, electrical & plumbing sleeves.
• Coordinate with QA/QC team for pre-pour checks and approvals.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
