Job Title: Site Accountant

The company
My client, a highly esteemed food manufacturing PLC situated in West Yorkshire, is searching for a Site Accountant. Known for a sumptuous range of premium offerings, this business boasts a fleet of well-invested manufacturing facilities spanning the UK. Their commitment to quality is matched only by their commitment to their team. Due to growth they wish to appoint a Site Accountant to join their Manufacturing Finance team to support their Produce site.
The role
Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the costings of the site’s products, Implement Cost Control measures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation across the manufacturing processes. Financial analysis, including variance analysis to drive insight and improve operational performance and provide key support to the site operations teams in terms of financial and commercial insights.
The role will be based 3 days at head office and 1.5 days hybrid.
The person
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience as an accountant within manufacturing is desirable, the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast -paced environment, have effective communication skills, both written and verbal and hold a relevant finance qualification CIMA/ACCA.
