Description:
Responsibilities include finance and accounting activities in the areas of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, budget, cash management, fixed assets administration and cost accounting. Performs month-end closings and develops financial statements.
Requirements:
Manage cash flow and disbursements of company checks and funds
Oversee accounts receivable and payable
Maintain trial balance of all accounts
Perform month-end closings, which includes financial statements
Reconcile bank accounts
Ensures that all taxes are paid and reporting is done in a timely manner
Provides CPA with information for quarterly and yearly review activities.
Works closely with upper management team in capital planning projects.
Works closely with upper management team in cost accounting duties.
Maintains equipment/asset files and depreciation schedules.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements / Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business Finance and/or 5 to 10 years related experience. Masters degree preferred.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret various financial
reports.
Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing cost systems including Inventory, COGS and Burden and Gross Profit Margin calculations is required.
Ability is needed to effectively present information to top management and related associations and groups.
No lifting requirements, constant sitting and or standing.
