Astute's Renewables team is partnering with an innovative organisation that delivers complex energy and engineering solutions across major infrastructure projects, utility networks, and critical customer systems. They are looking to recruit an experienced Site Electrical Engineer to join a growing team delivering power and renewables projects across the UK. In this strategically important role, the successful candidate will oversee the electrical elements of HV/LV infrastructure projects from design handover through to completion, ensuring quality and compliance at all stages. Responsibilities will include supporting Project and Site Managers by providing technical guidance, coordinating testing and commissioning activities, leading on technical meetings, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and project-specific regulatory conditions. The ideal candidate should possess an HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience) and have 5+ years of hands-on site experience working on HV/LV cable installation and distribution systems up to 132kV, preferably with experience in renewable or embedded generation projects. The role is site-based and offers a competitive salary between £60,000-£65,000 depending on experience, along with a range of employee benefits including remote GP consultations, flexible benefits schemes, and generous pension contributions.
