Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a Skills Practitioner to work in the Engineering, Construction and Building Services department. The individual must possess excellent communication skills and be highly organised and efficient, providing academic and technical support to students to enable them to successfully develop the technical skills they need to progress into the workplace or next level of study. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is wanting to transfer their skills to the next generation as well as providing an insight into teaching. You will also provide demonstrations of technical skills to aid the delivery of outstanding provision.
The ideal candidate will have recent industrial experience in a relevant area. Ideally, they will have experience of education or involvement in training in the workplace. They will be able to work with young people to support them to achieve and succeed to their full potential. The successful candidate will have a key responsibility for Instilling and upholding strong Health & Safety standards in practical environments.
Working with learners aged from 16 years old across all levels of curriculum. To set up and maintain clean and safe working environments as and when needed. Supporting teaching staff in the preparation of learning materials and oversee students in workshop environments facilitating development of skills. Under the Health & Safety etc.
