We’re seeking a passionate and creative Social and Content Manager with a good understanding of e-commerce brands and an aptitude for staying ahead of culture. The successful applicant will have a strong mix of digital-first skills across social management and content creation to help us grow our social presence in key global markets. Alongside the CMO and our external partners, they will lead the delivery of our content strategy through content partnerships and paid media channels. Working with our agency partners and in-house team, they’ll guide the creation of best-practise and right-for-channel integrated content that helps build our brand, foster community and loyalty, and grow conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital-first mindset: Stay ahead of emerging trends, platforms, formats and the competitive landscape to advance best-in-class ideas and solutions across all social content.
Social media and influencer strategies: In partnership with the CMO and external partners, assist in the development of social media and influencer strategies that are best in class and achieve the desired business objectives.
Lead day-to-day channel management from ideation to execution: Map out content calendars, create social briefs and maintain an organised social calendar across platforms, focused on delivering predetermined KPIs.
Collaborate and ideate: Working with internal and external partners, concept, develop, and execute creative for product launches, promotional campaigns, influencers, and more.
Strong understanding of platform best practices: Use your experience to guide best-in-class content creation designed and optimised for the platform.
Grow community, loyalty and retention: Gather community feedback and strengthen community connection across all social channels.
Establish & leverage a network of influencers: Manage and collaborate with content creators & influencers to create credible user-generated content that speaks to the target audiences.
Nurture blog and aggregator mentions: Manage and grow the brand’s presence across relevant blogs and aggregator sites.
Social media video content creation capabilities: Use your videography and editing skills to produce high-quality content for social and other digital channels.
Regular performance reporting and optimisation: With a strong grasp of metrics and analytical tools, measure and report successes and areas for improvement across always-on and campaign activity.
What you’ll bring to the role:
5+ years social media and content experience, preferably with some e-commerce and/or FMCG experience.
Experience with day-to-day social management including content creation, community management, influencer management and a comprehensive knowledge of the platforms.
Proficiency in creating engaging and high-quality content, including videography and editing, underpinned by strong conceptual foundations and an eye for detail.
Experience in the FMCG or health and wellness space is ideal.
Experience working with Amazon influencers and maximising the social tools available within Amazon is a bonus.
An understanding of great, fit-for-platform content for owned channels, and paid media.
Brilliant collaboration skills to work with in-house teams, agency partners and influencers.
A self-starter who can problem solve and take the initiative to make things happen.
A love for social and the role it can play in building brands, staying ahead of culture and shifting trends.
