We are an indie comic book company dedicated to creating compelling stories and growing a passionate community of readers. We are looking for a motivated Social Media Executive to help us build and maintain our online presence across multiple platforms.
Role Overview
As our Social Media Executive , you will be responsible for managing our day-to-day activity across all social media platforms, growing our Facebook Group community, and supporting our Kickstarter campaigns — from pre-launch audience building through to increasing backers after launch.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain our presence on Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), and other relevant platforms on a daily basis.
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content including posts, stories, and reels that reflect our brand and connect with our audience.
Grow and actively manage our Facebook Group by fostering community discussions, responding to members, and keeping engagement high.
Support Kickstarter pre-launch efforts by building awareness, growing followers, and generating excitement before campaigns go live.
Drive backer numbers during active Kickstarter launches through consistent and strategic social media activity.
Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with our publishing schedule and campaign milestones.
Monitor account performance and share regular updates on follower growth and engagement.
Stay up to date with trends in the comic, pop culture, and crowdfunding space to keep content relevant and engaging.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience managing social media accounts professionally.
Hands-on experience with Facebook, Instagram, and X (Twitter).
Demonstrated ability to grow followers and increase engagement on social platforms.
Strong writing and communication skills with an eye for good content.
Ability to work independently, manage time well, and meet deadlines.
Experience with Kickstarter or crowdfunding communities is a plus.
A genuine interest in comics, graphic novels, or pop culture is highly preferred.
