The Opportunity
The Insurance Council of BC, the regulatory authority for the insurance industry in British Columbia, is seeking a skilled Software Developer specializing in Dynamics 365 Customer Service to join our technology team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative solutions that support our mandate to regulate and oversee insurance professionals and organizations within the province. The ideal candidate will possess full-stack development experience and demonstrate expertise in Power Pages, Power Apps, and Power Automate (Flow).
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and support Dynamics 365 Customer Service applications to meet regulatory and organizational requirements
Design and implement full-stack solutions using Power Pages, Power Apps, and Power Automate (Flow).
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions that align with regulatory objectives
Ensure seamless integration of Dynamics 365 with other enterprise platforms and data sources
Maintain application security, performance, and scalability standards
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for improved reliability and efficiency
Document development processes, configurations, and procedures
Qualifications and Experience
3+ years of experience developing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience working in complex, regulated, or enterprise environments is an asset
Full-stack development expertise, including both front-end and back-end technologies
Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service module customization and development tools
Strong hands-on experience with Power Pages, Power Apps, and Power Automate (Flow)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Minimum to Midpoint Salary Range: $98,524 - $123,156 per annum.
Upon hire, new employees will be placed in a starting salary between the minimum and P50 (midpoint) of the salary range. The P50 of the range represents an employee that possesses full job knowledge, qualifications, and experience for the position.
