Job description:
You will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions as a Software Development Engineer I. With expertise in multiple programming languages and best practices, you will ensure scalable and maintainable code. You will collaborate with teams to deliver innovative products, mentor junior developers, and enhance development standards and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, resilient backend microservices
Implement reliable monitoring stacks for services
Familiarity with AWS cloud ecosystem
Plan, estimate, and own project deliveries
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver strategic and tactical goals
Preferably worked in the US Shift
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in building backend microservices
Experience working with managed cloud providers, such as AWS
Experience building products on the JVM stack using Java or Kotlin or React
Experience with monitoring stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, NewRelic
Experience or familiarity with Kubernetes ecosystem
Ability to choose the right algorithm, data-structure, and design pattern for problem statements
Experience and understanding of SQL and noSQL databases like Postgres, Redis, MySql
Experience working with messaging systems like Apache Kafka
