Direct Building Solutions Australia is a growing energy solutions company specialising in solar systems, battery storage, and energy-efficient upgrades across Victoria. As an accredited provider under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) and federal Small-scale Technology Certificates (STC) program, we are committed to delivering high-quality, compliant installations that help households and businesses reduce energy costs and carbon emissions.
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable Solar & Battery Installers to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and commissioning solar panel systems and battery storage solutions in accordance with Australian standards, VEU program requirements, and Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA).
Key Responsibilities
Install solar PV systems and battery storage units (residential & commercial)
Ensure all installations comply with:
VEU program guidelines
Clean Energy Council (CEC) standards
SAA regulations
Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Complete job documentation and compliance paperwork accurately
Maintain a high level of workmanship and safety on-site
Liaise with clients and provide basic system guidance
Requirements
Relevant electrical license (Class - A electrical license – Victoria preferred)
CEC and SAA Accreditation (Solar PV and/or Battery Storage)
Experience with VEU program installations (highly preferred)
Working at Heights certification
White Card (Construction Induction Card)
Valid driver’s license
Strong understanding of Australian standards (AS/NZS 3000, 5033, etc.)
