Could you be our next Specialist, Workplace Relations?
At McDonald’s Australia, we’re committed to making every moment count, not just for our customers, but for our people too. We’re now seeking a Specialist, Workplace Relations to join our team, supporting restaurants and stakeholders across the McDonald’s system. In this role, you’ll provide clear, practical advice on workplace relations matters, helping stakeholders understand their obligations and make sound people decisions that protect our brand as an employer of choice.
What you can expect on a day-to-day basis:
Providing WR guidance through multiple channels, including our specialist guidance hotline
Supporting and managing WR cases, grievances and complaints
Developing simple, practical tools and resources to lift capability across the business
Facilitating training and workshops for restaurant teams
Supporting broader projects and initiatives that strengthen compliance and operational consistency
Your keys to success:
Strong understanding of Australian employment law and Modern Awards
Enjoys solving problems and providing high-quality advice with a customer-first mindset
Is organised, confident, and able to manage multiple matters concurrently
Has experience in HR/WR, the restaurant environment, or is looking to build depth in workplace relations
