General ledger, Journals & accruals, intercompany accounting, VAT reporting, financial controlling
Welcome to Finance and accounting
You will be working for the Global shared service center based out of Bangalore and supporting on the Finance and accounting process across Europe.
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Accounting:-
Perform general ledger accounting activities like., monthly books close, accruals, journals posting, intercompany invoicing and accounting, intercompany payments, Intercompany reconciliation, forex valuations, finance master data, monthend reporting’s, fixed asset accounting.
Indirect tax:-
Danish VAT reporting. Reporting of the sales done between the European countries, Consignment stock/sales validation, Submission of VAT returns to Danish Tax authorities, Tax code validation, Export VAT reporting/ Main VAT reporting, Energy VAT reporting, Intrastat VAT reporting, Customs taxes reporting.
Financial controlling:-
Perform variance analysis (planned and actual numbers), strong accounting knowledge, work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data, Identify and drive process improvements including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/comparison tools. familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful. Strong analytical and data gathering skills, Good business acumen, Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills, Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow, Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills, Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently, Experience working with, and presenting to, senior(s)
Good knowledge of macros, has supported in automations, setting up jobs in SAP. Exposure to different ERP and reporting systems will be an added advantage.
To succeed you must hold:
Bachelors/Masters degree in accounting together with 6 to 7 years of relevant experience and operational experience in SAP or other ERP
