Job Description
1. Review of Accounting entries and document verification of Import Purchases
2. Checking and approvals of accounting entries related to Production.
3. Receivables management against local sales. Reviewing the activities of Accounts Executive - Banking for follow up with parties via email. Reconciliation of Receipt against the Sale Value and clarify the differences with the party, if any.
4. Authentication of various payments, including the payment entry in accounts:
a) Payment to be made to transporters. You are responsible to sign the manual register of transport after the same has been verified by Accounts Executive.
b) Any other payment for expenses yet to be recorded.
5. Cross verification of Bank statement and Bank Book, settle suspense entries, check whether BRS is done or not, on daily basis.
6. Verification of payment of various taxes and duties (TDS, Custom duty) with supporting documents.
7. Verification of documents related to LC and Bill discounting, the execution of related documents. Their payment follow ups and accounting treatment.
8. Verification of Accounting related to Jobwork, and the related payment thereto.
+. Ensure the backup of ERP is taken every morning and stored at a remote location.
10. Ensure the timely application, preparation of documents related to MEIS.
11. Prepare/Ensure Outstanding report for Essar Steel.
12. Prepare/Ensure overdue interest working as and when required by the director.
13. Reconciliation of Interest charged by Banks against Working capital limits.
14. Preparation of data for monthly GST Return filing and the same shall be discussed with Yash before final submission.
15. Discuss and review the monthly stock report and quarterly FFR statement with Manager - Accounts & Finance
16. Preparation of data and communication with Stock Auditors while stock audit is being conducted. The data and report shall also be discussed and finalised with involvement of Manager - Accounts & Finance.
